Halloween can be educational with these fun Halloween theme subtraction problems and addition problems!  These four Halloween-themed worksheets are a fun way to work on basic math skills during the month of October.

These Halloween math activities are great for reinforcing basic skills for morning work for young kids in preschool or Kindergarten working on math concepts and addition facts for 0-10 numbers.  A simple Halloween prep worksheets reinforces number recognition in young learners.  Halloween printables are so much fun for classroom Halloween parties as well during snack time.  Teachers can provide Halloween candy for the correct answer for these subtraction equations and addition math facts as well to add in some fun competition!

Simple addition is key for foundations of math fun. These Halloween themed math exercises are great since Halloween falls at the beginning of the pre-kindergarten and school year helping teachers assess correct number recognition, basic operations of simple math, and writing of 0-10.  I love this subtraction activities and addition worksheets because the students think they are having fun but it's the perfect way for teachers to see where each student is and know where to go next for learning.

This fun festive Halloween additional worksheet is perfect for even the youngest child to work on adding Halloween icons like pumpkins, hats, cats, spooky hands and spiders. This Halloween 5 different addition Halloween questions on this first printable math sheet are a great way to work on simple numbers and addition for 1-5.  

Teachers and parents of even younger children and toddlers working on counting can print an extra copy of these and cut out the objects and solely work on counting and not having to even write yet.  This is a great way to set up math centers or have an activity for various siblings working on different activities but that is all related if you are homeschooling.

This fun activity for Halloween I Spy is great to discuss colors, Halloween items, and count.  You can add difficulty for this set of Halloween I Spy Printable worksheets by asking children to total the number of objects together.  For example, ask students to add the number of spiders to the number of bats.  This Halloween I spy worksheet can adapt and become an activity sheet easily with additional questions.

Even younger children who cannot write numbers can participate in this activity.  Counting independently or as a small group is a great way to make a simple counting activity more fun!  Talk about the Halloween I Spy objects with the child or student like haunted houses, spider webs, witch hats, pumpkins and other fun graphics from a Halloween theme for kids of all ages.

We love using a Halloween and October themed bucket list to check off all of our Halloween season fun with school parties, at home fun and get togethers in our neighborhood with tons of Halloween activities for younger kids and older kids too! Halloween season has so many activities to offer other than so much candy!
